The score comes from a documented formula over category weights and finding severity — the same inputs always produce the same number, so it can be checked.
The AI writes the reasoning, not the result
A language model turns the numbers into plain business language for the report. It never adjusts the score itself — that stays with the maths.

Every assessment is stored and compared with the one before it, so progress — or its absence — is visible rather than argued about.

Configurable. Never zero by default.
Each finding is mapped to a category, and each category carries a weight. Buy every service and all seven fill in; buy one and the rest are flagged as blind spots — not scored as a pass.
Weights are visible in the report and configurable to your risk priorities. A service you do not license is marked as a blind spot and its weight is redistributed — never counted as zero.
The maths gives the score. The AI explains it.
The number comes from open, repeatable rules — the same inputs always produce the same score, so an auditor can check it. The language model writes the reasoning, not the result.
Delta reporting, not a snapshot
Every assessment is compared with the one before it: new findings, closed findings, still open. The report stops being "what we have" and becomes "what changed".
Blind spots stay visible
A category with no data behind it is marked and its weight is redistributed across what is measured — it is never quietly counted as a clean bill of health.
